285 Governor LLC is a U.S. U.S. Limited Liability Company (LLC) public charity (Business ID 001723870). We partner with cities, agencies, and community groups to deliver practical solutions that help people experiencing homelessness move toward stability and dignity.
Our programs combine near-term relief with long-term pathways: safe interim housing, paid work experience, and navigation to permanent services. Contributions may be tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
What We Do
We operate a portfolio of initiatives designed around measurable outcomes and transparency. Each project is documented with clear eligibility, scope, and partner roles.
- Housing Activation: interim safe sites and pathways to permanent homes.
- Workforce & Jobs: paid crews, training, and employer connections.
- Direct Relief: food, hygiene, outreach, case navigation.
We work under written MOUs with local partners and follow conflict-of-interest and financial-controls policies approved by the Board.
Jobs & Training
Paid transitional work, certifications, and coaching that lead to stable income.
Housing
Safe parcels and pathways home supported by wrap-around case management.
